Glass Nickel Pizza Co. Delivers $74K for Wisconsin Communities in 2025

Pizza with Purpose program supports 132 local organizations and counting

MADISON, Wis. – Glass Nickel Pizza Co. is proud to announce that a total of $74,327.90 was donated to over 130 local organizations throughout Wisconsin in 2025 through its Pizza with Purpose donation program. The milestone was made possible by the collective support of customers and team members dedicated to enriching the communities they serve.

The impact started with 693,909 pizzas sold in 2025, with each order contributing toward the year-end total. These efforts were further amplified by contributions of gift cards, food and other resources to support local families, schools, and communities across the state.

Through Pizza with Purpose, each Glass Nickel Pizza store selects local nonprofits, schools and community organizations that align with the needs and values of its community, creating a tailored approach to giving back and creating a positive, tangible impact on the people around them. Donations reached a diverse range of causes, including hunger relief, children and families, health and well being, and education.

“Part of what makes Glass Nickel Pizza unique is each franchise’s local ties to the community it’s based in,” said Tim Nicholson, co-founder of Glass Nickel Pizza Co. “This program truly demonstrates our team members’ commitment to enriching lives in the communities they serve, and we are very pleased to support organizations that help our neighbors in need.”

Among the organizations supported this year was Shelter from the Storm Animal Rescue, a Madison-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and caring for homeless animals throughout southern Wisconsin. Funding from Pizza with Purpose has helped provide essential supplies and care for animals in the organization’s rescue program, including food, medication, treats and toys.

“We love teaming up with community partners to help spread the word about our nonprofit rescue and veterinary clinic,” said Payton Pritzl, chief operating officer of Shelter from the Storm Animal Rescue. “Their belief in our mission and support through programs such as Pizza with Purpose allows us the privilege of caring for thousands of animals each year, especially major medical cases like Spirit and long-term residents like Colby, while they await their forever homes.”

Outside of Shelter from the Storm, the 2025 initiative supported 132 organizations with a variety of critical missions across the state. Notable recipients of the program’s support include the Hunger Task Force, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee, Goodman Community Center, Habitat for Humanity, and the Dane County Humane Society.
