Where We Deliver
Glass Nickel Pizza prides itself on having a group of professionals as part of our in-house delivery team. We don't outsource a key element of our service, we want to ensure we handle your order from start to finish. These individuals are often the main face of our business, and we strive to be at your office or doorstep in a safe, timely manner with a warm smile (and pizza!).
Please see our delivery map to the right to determine if you are in our current delivery zone.
Madison East is the GNP original. We got our start a few blocks down the road in a small delivery/carry out only building. In 1996, Brian Glassel and Tim Nicholson met while working - where else - at a Madison pizza shop. Brian had owned his own pizza place in PA, recently returning home to Wisconsin. Tim had been delivering pizzas since his teens in northern Wisconsin, working over the years as far north as Alaska. Pizza had always been a part of their lives and they knew together they could do pizza better than anyone. But at the time, no one wanted to give them a chance. They worked and saved and finally met Joe Krupp, the only developer in Madison willing to give them a lease. Everyone told them “Madison doesn’t need another pizza place”. Well…..
Over 25 years later we still love what we do. One of the GMs was the very first employee ever hired, on the third day of business. Several GNP employees from our early years are still with us, we take great pride that they knew us then and know us now. Several of our employees took the extra leap and opened their own Glass Nickel Pizza, which makes our original dream even better than we initially could have imagined. We are still growing with our GNP family and are continually grateful for crew, the neighbors, and the community who have been with us all these years, and the ones we are just meeting for the first time. We are excited to keep making amazing pizza, giving top notch service, building a great place to work, and finding ways to get better and better at what we do each day.
